// TV GLORY // HAVOC ARISE EP - 16 November 2009 //

The "HAVOC ARISE" ep, released in late autumn 2009, is in fact the third collection of
recorded songs by TVG. The previous two - "TV GLORY" (autumn 2007) and
"YOU CAN DO IT IF YOU REALLY WANT" (autumn 2008) - act as natural stepping
stones, remaining fair reflections of the growing pains and pleasures inherent to
the musical development of the group.

The latest set of tracks is more muscular and confident, yet the disconcerting
fragility of the compositions and songwriting craft continues to shine through.
The sound of TV GLORY today is one which looks fearlessly to the future, whilst
respecting humbly the music of the past.

Two remixes of the Havoc Arise track come with this release, one by REMOTE,
the Parisian producer and DJ, the other by LOWCLUB (aka Super Deux),
the graphic artist and musician based in San Francisco.

Un pas de plus vers une certaine maturité musicale, les TV GLORY se cherchent, se
trouvent, et le prouvent avec un nouvel ep "HAVOC ARISE" pas piqué des hannetons.

Ces 4 titres dansants et chantants prendront un malin plaisir à égarer l'auditeur
dans les méandres du rock. Est-ce l'Angleterre d'XTC ou celle d'Hot Chip
qui pointe son nez au détour d'une chanson ?
Sont-ce des machines empruntées à New Order ou bien aux MGMT ?

Construit dans le respect de la tradition mais sans en subir le poids,
Havoc Arise, est un "petit" labyrinthe de 4 pièces où l'on se perd avec grand plaisir.
